Automated recommendations

The service uses automated analysis to suggest apps based on the problem you enter and the catalog information available to us. Advertising bids do not determine whether an app is relevant. A bid can only choose a clearly labelled promoted position among apps that already meet the relevance threshold. Recommendations do not make legal or similarly significant decisions about visitors.

Cookies and local identifiers

We do not use advertising cookies. We use the following service cookies:

  • wst_session — an essential, secure creator-login cookie that expires after 7 days.
  • wst_feedback — a pseudonymous identifier that expires after 1 year and is used to enforce feedback limits and prevent repeated messages. It does not contain your name or email.

Service providers and transfers

We use specialist providers for website hosting, database hosting, AI processing, payment processing and transactional email. They process data only to provide their services to us. Card details are entered directly with the payment provider and are not stored by WhatSolvesThis. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are protected through an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful safeguard.

How long we keep data

  • Creator account and listing data is kept while the account or listing is active and then deleted or anonymised when no longer needed, subject to legal record-keeping duties.
  • Creator sessions expire after 7 days. Verification and password-reset links expire after 30 minutes and cannot be reused.
  • Payment, ledger, billing and dispute records are kept for the period required by accounting, tax, fraud-prevention and legal obligations.
  • Recommendation accounting, campaign and aggregate click records are kept while needed to calculate balances, explain statistics, resolve disputes and protect service integrity.
  • Feedback is kept while it remains useful to the relevant creator or until deletion is requested, unless retention is needed to address abuse or a legal claim.
  • The search response can be held in a short-lived retry cache for up to 15 minutes. WhatSolvesThis does not store the raw problem text in its recommendation database.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You can also withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. To make a request, email contact@omniamus.com. We may need to verify that the request concerns you.

You can learn more from the European Commission’s GDPR guidance. You may also complain to the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP, or the authority where you live or work.

Security and children

We use access controls, hashed passwords and tokens, encrypted connections, limited data collection and payment-provider checkout to protect data. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Creator accounts, app submissions, payments and advertising campaigns are available only to adults who can enter into a binding agreement.

Changes

We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
