Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of WhatSolvesThis, operated by Omniamus S.R.L., Romania. By using the service, creating a creator account, submitting an app or purchasing credit, you agree to these Terms. Contact us at contact@omniamus.com.
1. The service
WhatSolvesThis helps visitors discover software by describing a problem and comparing it with information in our catalog. Visitors can browse listings and send feedback. Creators can list apps, receive feedback, fund recommendation charges, view statistics and run advertising campaigns.
2. Recommendations and catalog information
Recommendations are generated from the information available in the catalog and the request entered by the visitor. They are informational and may be incomplete, outdated or unsuitable for a particular situation. Scores are not endorsements or guarantees. Visitors must verify an app’s current features, compatibility, security, price and terms with its developer before relying on it.
Paid bids do not make an irrelevant app eligible. At most one app can receive a clearly labelled promoted position, chosen only from apps that already meet the service’s relevance threshold.
3. Creator accounts
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement to create a creator account, submit an app, make a payment or advertise. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for actions taken through your account.
4. App listings
By submitting an app, you confirm that you are authorised to represent it and that the listing, links, claims and platform availability are accurate. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display the submitted name, logo, descriptions and other listing material for operating and promoting WhatSolvesThis.
You retain ownership of your material. You must not submit unlawful, misleading, infringing, malicious or unsafe material. We may request evidence, correct formatting, label unverified claims, pause recommendations or remove a listing that breaches these Terms or creates a material risk to users or the service.
5. Visitor feedback
Feedback must concern the relevant app and must not contain unlawful content, threats, personal data about others, spam or links. Feedback is delivered privately to the app creator. We may rate-limit, reject, close or remove feedback to prevent abuse. Sending feedback does not create a support or employment relationship with us or the creator.
6. Credit and recommendation charges
Creator credit is purchased in EUR as a one-time payment; there is no subscription or automatic recharge. Usable credit equals the amount paid minus the actual payment-processing fees confirmed for that transaction.
When an analysis recommends one or more eligible apps, the recommendation service fee is allocated equally among the final recommended apps. The fee varies with the processing required and covers automated analysis and platform operation. It is charged whether or not a visitor clicks, installs or purchases the app. Technical retries with the same request identifier are not charged twice. An app can be excluded from recommendations when its credit is insufficient or recommendation billing is paused.
Before payment, the dashboard displays the applicable mechanism and requires acceptance. Purchased credit and fees are recorded in the creator ledger. Refund requests for unused credit can be sent to contact@omniamus.com. Fees already validly incurred are not normally reversible, except where required by law or caused by our error. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
7. Advertising auctions
A creator can set a bid per promoted appearance and a daily advertising budget. Among relevant and otherwise eligible apps, the highest eligible bid wins the promoted position and is charged its bid in addition to the normal recommendation fee. Losing bids are not charged. Equal bids are resolved by campaign creation time and then campaign identifier. Daily advertising budgets reset at 00:00 UTC and do not include ordinary recommendation fees.
Advertising does not guarantee impressions, clicks, installations, customers or revenue. We may pause a campaign to address insufficient credit, invalid ownership, manipulation, legal risk or service integrity.
8. Acceptable use
You must not interfere with the service, bypass limits, probe accounts or infrastructure, automate abusive traffic, manipulate recommendations or advertising, generate fraudulent events, submit malware, impersonate another party or use the service unlawfully. You must not use recommendations as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, employment or other high-impact decisions.
9. Third-party services
Listings link to websites and app stores operated by third parties. Purchases, downloads, accounts and use of a listed app are governed by that third party’s terms and privacy practices. We are not a party to transactions between visitors and app developers.
10. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue features, catalog entries or access where reasonably necessary. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update these Terms and will show a new effective date. If a material change affects paid creator services, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time and may request account closure by emailing us. We may restrict or terminate access for a material or repeated breach, fraud, non-payment, legal requirement or a serious risk to users or the platform. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Omniamus S.R.L. is not liable for decisions made from a recommendation, third-party apps or links, or indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law or limits mandatory consumer rights.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, you retain the protection of mandatory laws and the right to use the competent courts available to you under applicable law. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern.
